This canvas topped On30 speeder is based on Bachmann HO Gandy Dancer. The motor unit looks like some kind of vertical engine. So I designed a wood frame and seats to convert it to On30 speeder. Superstructure was built by styrene sheet with 0.8mm dia. brass wire for roof stems and laid over original chassis. HO figures were removed, but I remained moving levers to animate exhaust pipe flap on the roof. Canvas roof is made of vinyl sheet covered with tissue paper. American Model Builder's clutch lever adds details to the model. I made two units, numbered 19 painted in red, and 20 in yellow.
